Ashford Formula - today the name is synonymous with quality, performance and value. Creteseal is proud to be the exclusive distributor of Curecrete’s award winning Ashford Formula. Through this relationship, Creteseal is committed to providing the highest quality and the most effective products available for the concrete industry today and tomorrow.
Concrete curing, sealing, hardening and dustproofing by chemical densification is a concept introduced by Ashford Formula over half a century ago. Ashford Formula has been recognised ever since as the leader in the chemical densification industry for the following reasons:
Ashford Formula is a colorless, transparent liquid that penetrates concrete and masonry building materials. It thereby protects, preserves and strengthens them. It does this by effectively penetrating the surface and solidifying the components of concrete into one solid mass. The effect is to increase density and toughen, harden and resist moisture for the life of the concrete.
Since its introduction to the United States in 1947, Ashford Formula has singlehandedly created the concrete densification concept and developed it into a widely accepted and acknowledged industry. Because of its unique and proprietary process for chemical densification, the Formula has been specified for use to enhance concrete surfaces worldwide.
Ashford Formula continues to be recognized throughout the world as the quality standard and leader. With just one permanent application, many concrete surfaces are still performing after 40, 50 and even 60 years of continuous use. Exposed concrete surfaces, treated with Ashford Formula, are therefore becoming the solution of choice by end-users, building owners and specifiers.
True to its market leading profile and pedigree, Curecrete Distribution is committed to building a progressive, worldwide network of factory authorized distributors and certified applicators to ensure it continues to remain the brand of choice wherever concrete is being applied.
Creteseal is proud to be associated with Ashford Formula, and its winning brand attributes that include:
Ashford Formula is commonly used in warehouses, distribution centres, aviation hangers, exhibit halls, stadiums, manufacturing plants and food processing facilities. Ashford Formula produces a densified surface through a chemical reaction with the moisture and alkalis in the concrete. The “fixed air” spaces are reduced to a size through which water molecules cannot pass. However, these spaces do permit the passage of air and water vapour, thus allowing the concrete to breathe.
Ashford Formula is environmentally friendly and is safe to use. It is an odourless and non-hazardous material. It contains no solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Ashford Formula is non-toxic, and produces no harmful fumes or vapours.
For old and new
Ashford Formula can be used on new or existing slabs. Either way, it provides the same long-lasting protection.
